ISSUES: LGBTQ
The state does not have any business preventing two individuals from getting married based on their gender or sexual preference. Doing so is discriminatory.
As a public school teacher, I work with students and families and individuals of all types: gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning. As a proud Democrat, I will stand up for all citizens, especially those who have been disenfranchised.
